Ingredients
- 1 tube (16 oz) Grands Homestyle Biscuits 8 count
- 1 tablespoon salted butter melted
- 1 cup red icing
- 1 cup green icing
- 1 cup white icing
- 1 cup chocolate icing
- ¼ cup whole milk divided
Decorations and Toppings
- Sprinkles
- candy cane crumbles
- sugar pearls
- white icing
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 340°F and spray the basket with a nonstick spray.
- Using a bottle cap, large piping tip, or free hand with a paring knife, cut circles out of the center of each raw biscuit
- Brush the top of each biscuit with melted butter and place into the basket about 2 inches apart. (Note: Do not overcrowd because they will rise.) Make several batches if necessary. Cook for 6 minutes and set aside on parchment paper or another non-stick surface.
- Place each color icing into a separate, microwave safe, bowl and microwave each for 30 second intervals until they are melted and smooth when stirred. Stir a tablespoon of milk into each bowl to thin the icing slightly.
- Dip each cooked donut top into the icing and then set it back on the parchment paper.
- Decorate the donuts before the icing sets using any sprinkles or decorations you like.
Notes
- Save the middles: You may also use the cutout circles to make little donut holes, too! These are great if you have more Christmas donut ideas for decorations.
- Enjoy room temperature: When the donuts are cold, they taste a little dry. Let them sit out at room temperature or heat them for a few seconds to warm them up.
- Decorate quickly: The icing won’t take long to set, so make sure you add your sprinkles and other toppings while it’s still warm.
