  • 2 crumpet
  • 1 egg large
  • 40 g cheddar cheese grated, mature

Instructions

  1. Whisk 1 Egg in a bowl and dip 2 Crumpets in to soak the egg up.
  2. Put into the air fryer and cook at 180°C/350℉ for 2 minutes.
  3. Open the air fryer and sprinkle 40 g Mature cheddar over the crumpets.
  4. Put back in the air fryer and cook for a further 2 minutes.

Notes

  • Use shredded mature cheddar cheese instead of pre-grated to ensure better melting.
  • Arrange crumpets with space between them in the air fryer for proper air circulation and crisping.
  • To achieve a more golden brown finish, air fry for an additional 1-2 minutes as needed.
  • For a lower fat option, substitute with reduced fat cheddar cheese.
