Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized russet potatoes sliced into fries
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- ½ cup of grated parmesan cheese
- garlic cloves crushed
- salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped basil for garnish

Instructions
- Cut the potatoes into sticks, making sure to give them all the same size.
- Soak the potatoes in cold water for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- When you are ready to cook, start by preheat the air fryer to 400F degrees.
- Wash the potatoes well under cold running water and dry them well .
- In a large bowl place the sliced potatoes, add olive oil, salt, black pepper, smashed garlic and origano and mix until the potatoes are fully coated.
- 4. Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- After 10 minutes add parmesan cheese and mix well, cook for another 5 minutes, always shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- Remove the fries from the air fryer and garnish with chopped basil (optional) and more parmsan cheese.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Toss your hot fries in a mixture of melted butter and hot sauce for a buffalo twist. Top with blue cheese crumbles and chopped scallions for an added kick.
- Mix together sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried garlic, dried onion, and sea salt. Toss your fries in butter and then in the everything bagel seasoning for a savory and crunchy option.
- Cover your fries in shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, and chopped cilantro. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and some salsa for dipping.
