Air fry fresh (or frozen) perfectly tender and crisp green beans in only 10 minutes for a quick, easy, delicious and healthy side dish.

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans or frozen
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
- Set out a large mixing bowl. Place washed and trimmed green beans in the bowl. Then drizzle olive oil over the top, followed by a sprinkling of garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to make sure the oil and seasoning have completely coated the green beans.
- Dump the green beans into the hot air fryer basket. Close and air fry for 5-6 minutes for thin French-style green beans, or 6-7 minutes for thicker green beans. If using frozen green beans, air fry for 8-10 minutes. Make sure to shake the basket once halfway through cooking. Taste, then salt and pepper as needed. Serve warm.
Notes
- Cooked green beans will keep well for up to 5 days in the refrigerator. Although they will start to lose their tender bite after a few days.
- Reheat them in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes to get some of that snap back.
- Air Fryer Frozen Green Beans Instructions:
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
- Coat the frozen green beans in the olive oil and spice blend, and air fry for 8-10 minutes. Give the basket a shake at the 4-minute mark.
