Moist Maker Ingredients:

  • 200 g leftover turkey breast
  • 200 ml leftover turkey gravy
  • 6 Slices bread
  • 4 Tbsp stuffing
  • 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • sliced tomatoes
  • cranberry sauce optional
  • butter optional

Instructions

  1. I always start by making the bottom layer of the sandwich. Butter your bread, add a layer of turkey breast, tomatoes and a layer of stuffing.
  2. Next add a slice of bread into your instant pot and soak both sides in your cold turkey gravy.
  3. Add the moist maker onto your bottom slice of your sandwich and now add more turkey above the moist maker, some mayonnaise, and some sliced tomatoes. Place the lid on your sandwich.
  4. Very carefully, so that it doesn’t break, place your turkey sandwich in the air fryer basket. Cook for 5 minutes at 160c/320f.
  5. Next serve the turkey moist maker while still warm. Though if your bread slices are thick like ours, you will need a napkin or two.

Notes

  • Optional. Use whatever leftovers you have that work well in a turkey sandwich. I love stuffing, but you might prefer extra salad instead.
  • Careful. Note that the bread gets very fragile when it has been soaked in the gravy. You might want to use both hands when you lift it out of the instant pot.
  • Cold. Make sure your turkey gravy is cold and that your bread is cold. Otherwise the bread will break, and the turkey gravy will cause the bread to crumble.
