Air Fryer Pork Chops
Report
Air fryer pork chops are one of my favorite quick meals. The bone-in chops turn out tender and juicy with a crispy, golden Parmesan crust, all in under 30 minutes. With simple, budget-friendly ingredients and the air fryer doing most of the work, this recipe is perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Seasoning:
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian dried herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Pat dry pork chops with paper towels, then brush both sides with oil.
- Combine all the Seasoning ingredients in a medium bowl and stir to combine.
- Coat both sides of the pork chops with the Parmesan mixture, pressing slightly to get it to stick.
- Place pork chops in the air fryer basket and cook at 400° for 12 minutes; flip pork chops after 6 minutes.
- The pork chops should be golden brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 145-160 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Arrange them on a serving plate and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing or serving.
Notes
- One of the best ways I keep my pork chops juicy is by choosing thicker, bone-in cuts that are about an inch thick. The fat around the bone helps lock in moisture, making every bite tender and flavorful. I also look for well-marbled chops since the extra fat prevents them from drying out. If I have a little extra time, I like to brine or marinate them to add even more tenderness.
- I make sure the pork chops don’t touch in the air fryer so the heat circulates evenly. This helps them cook properly and get crispy on the outside.
- After 10 minutes, I check the temperature and remove them at 142°F. As they rest, they continue cooking to 145°F for the perfect doneness.
- If I’m using boneless or thinner pork chops, I check them after 8 minutes. They cook faster, so I make sure not to overdo it.
