Instructions

  1. If the shrimp have not already been prepared, peel and devein them. The tails can be left on or off depending on preference.
  2. Whisk together oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic cloves, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl until well combined. Add shrimp and marinate for 10-20 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Place shrimp in a single layer in a 6-quart air fryer basket. Cook at 370 degrees for 6-7 minutes. Halfway through cooking, baste the shrimp with the remaining marinade from the bowl. Continue cooking until the shrimp are no longer translucent and cooked through.
  4. Serve with a squeeze of additional lemon juice and a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Enjoy!

Notes

  • To Prep-Ahead: Shrimp is best enjoyed fresh, but you can mix up the sauce ahead of time if you need.
  • To Store: Store leftover shrimp in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 to 3 days.
  • To Freeze: It is best to freeze shrimp soon after cooking for best flavor. Line the leftovers on a tray in a single layer and place in the freezer for a couple of hours. Then, transfer the shrimp to a freezer-safe bag and store it for 12 months.
  • To Reheat: Warm up shrimp in the air fryer at 325℉ for 5 minutes. You can use the microwave, but it will be mushy.
