  • 1 Homemade Pizza Dough

Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (fresh grated, not the powdery kind)
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Pizza Toppings

  • 1 ½ cups shredded Mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup cooked, diced chicken (see options above)
  • 1/2 cup Bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1-2 cups baby spinach
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425℉Roll out pizza dough onto a pizza stone or pizza pan. Bake the pizza dough for 5 minutes. Remove from oven (keep the oven on) and set aside.

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  1. Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with a wire whisk until smooth. 
  2. Add milk a little at a time, continue to whisk.
  3. Stir in Parmesan cheese and salt & pepper. Remove from heat when it gets to the desired consistency. The sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if needed, however, you want the sauce to be on the thicker side to spoon over the pizza.

Assembling the Pizza:

  1. Spread the Alfredo sauce evenly over the pizza. Use the back of a spoon to help spread the sauce to the outer edges of the dough.
  2. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  3. Place chicken and crumbled bacon evenly over the pizza.
  4. Wash spinach and pat dry. In a medium-sized skillet, sauté the spinach in oil until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Place spinach evenly over the pizza.
  6. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and parmesan over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
