Alfredo Sauce Recipe
Description
The alfredo sauce is prepared by gently heating milk, chicken broth, and minced garlic over low to medium heat, allowing the flavors to blend without boiling. Salt and pepper, preferably a seasoning blend with parsley flakes, enhance the base flavor.
Heavy cream and freshly grated Parmesan cheese are then whisked into the skillet, creating a creamy texture as the sauce gently simmers and thickens. The sauce develops a balanced richness from the dairy and a savory depth from the Parmesan.
This sauce is suitable for coating freshly cooked pasta or as a base for other creamy dishes. Its straightforward preparation relies on gentle heat to avoid curdling and ensures a smooth consistency.
