All-Natural Pandan French Toast

An Asian spin on French Toast with a pandan-infused custard.

Ingredients
- 4 slices thick-cut bread day old is best
- 2 large eggs
- ⅓ C whole milk or non-dairy milk
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon Suncore Emerald Pandan Leaf Supercolor Powder
- 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, lightly whisk together egg, and milk. Add in sugar, vanilla extract and pandan powder. Whisk until everything is combined.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture and repeat with both sides. Press firmly on the bread to ensure it soaks up the mixture.
- Heat a frying pan over low heat. Lightly grease with butter.
- Place the coated bread into the frying pan and cook over low heat for 4-5 minutes. Cover with a lid. Remove the lid and flip the bread. Cover and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Repeat with the remaining bread.
