Antipasto Salad
Description
Antipasto Salad starts with a base of chopped romaine lettuce topped with an assortment of Italian-style ingredients including diced provolone cheese, marinated and chopped artichokes, sliced olives, diced hard salami, quartered pepperoni, sliced pepperoncini, red onion slices, and shredded Parmesan cheese. Tossed together with your choice of Italian dressing, these components create a vibrant mix of fresh, tangy, and savory flavors.
The salad’s structure ranges from crisp romaine to tender artichokes and firm cured meats, complemented by the saltiness of olives and Parmesan. Pepperoncini adds a mild heat while red onion contributes a crisp bite. The dressing ties the ingredients with acidity and oiliness typical of Italian dressings.
This salad is suitable as a starter or side dish with Italian or American meals. It can be served casually at family dinners or more formal meals. Adjust seasoning or add more cheese to taste as preferred.
