Apple Dump Cake with Caramel Sauce is the easiest and most delicious apple dessert or apple cobbler to make! It's so easy even the kids can make it, and they'll love it!

Ingredients
- 1 15.25 ounce package cake mix
- 2 (20-ounce) cans apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup butter, thinly sliced (8 tablespoons or 1 stick)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 (12-ounce) jar caramel topping
- 8 scoops vanilla ice cream (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Dump the apple pie filling in a large bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon, and stir until all the apples are covered and the cinnamon is evenly distributed throughout the pie filling.
- Dump the cinnamon-spiced apple pie filling into a baking dish. Spread evenly so it is level and has the same thickness on all sides.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the apple pie filling mixture. Get it as even and level as possible. Dot the top of the cake mix with thin slices of very cold butter. It is very important to cover all the cake mix, otherwise you may have dry spots.
- Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for about 45 minutes or until the top of the cake is golden brown and the apple pie filling is bubbling around the sides. Let cool for 5 minutes while you get out of the toppings.
- Spoon out the dump cake into individual serving bowls and top with vanilla ice cream and the caramel topping.
