Asiago Garlic Alfredo Pasta

Asiago Garlic Alfredo Pasta is a rich, creamy fettuccine dish featuring a sauce made from butter, cream, cream cheese, and Asiago cheese enhanced with garlic and Italian seasoning. The sauce thickens gently to coat the pasta with a smooth, cheesy texture and a balanced garlic flavor that complements the mild sharpness of Asiago cheese.

Description

This recipe begins with cooking fettuccine pasta to al dente before preparing the sauce. The sauce combines butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese, melted and whisked until smooth over medium heat. Garlic is incorporated in two forms: minced fresh garlic for texture and garlic powder for rounded flavor. Italian seasoning provides herbal notes, while salt and pepper balance the seasoning. Asiago cheese is added last and stirred in until the sauce thickens slightly, offering a silky consistency that clings to the pasta.

The resulting pasta dish has a creamy and cheesy profile with a hint of garlic spice. The cream cheese adds body and richness, while Asiago gives a gentle sharpness. The sauce's texture is creamy but not heavy, ensuring the pasta strands are evenly coated.

Asiago Garlic Alfredo Pasta can be served as a comforting main course, optionally accompanied by simple side salads or steamed vegetables. It stands well alone, delivering a satisfying combination of creamy textures and savory flavors.
