Baby Led Weaning Muffins

These Baby Led Weaning Muffins combine flour, Greek yogurt, melted butter, and baking powder as a base, with chopped cherry tomatoes, red pepper, and cubed mozzarella cheese folded in. The batter yields tender, savory muffins with soft textures suitable for young children exploring solid foods. Baking at 200°C forms golden tops while keeping the inside moist. This recipe offers a nutritious way to introduce little ones to various flavors and textures in an approachable, packable form.

Description

Baby Led Weaning Muffins bring together plain flour, Greek yogurt, and melted butter with leavening from baking powder to create a tender, lightly risen batter. Fresh cherry tomatoes, red pepper, and mozzarella cheese add bursts of mild sweetness and creamy texture to each bite. The eggs help bind the mixture, resulting in soft, easily held muffins ideal for little hands.

Baked at 200 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes, the muffins develop a golden exterior while remaining soft and moist inside. The incorporation of diced vegetables and cheese provides mild flavors and gentle textures suitable for babies transitioning to solids but also enjoyable for family snacks or light meals.

These muffins can be served warm or at room temperature, making them practical for lunchboxes or quick snacks. They include familiar ingredients that introduce kids to vegetables and mild cheese without overwhelming strong tastes. The recipe's simplicity allows for adjustment with other vegetables or cheeses if desired.
