Bacon Wrapped Maple Sriracha Little Smokies

Ingredients

  • cocktail wieners 12 oz package, mini sausages aka lil smokies
  • Bacon or turkey bacon, 12 oz package; each piece cut into 3 horizontally
  • 3 tablespoons sriracha hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Toothpicks wooden

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees (F).
  2. Wrap each cocktail wiener with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Place on a large baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl combine sriracha and maple syrup. Slather each bacon wrapped dog with Sriracha maple sauce.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until bacon looks cooked and slightly crispy. Turn heat up to broil and cook for another 1-4 minutes, or just until bacon crisps. Serve at once.
