- 12 ounces linguine or fettuccine
- 1 cup marinara sauce (your choice)
- 1 cup basil about 2 handfuls, packed leaves
- 2 TBS olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese divided, freshly grated, or Asiago cheese
- 1 cup tomatoes halved, cherry or grape
- 4 ounces fresh mozzarella , sliced into ½ inch rounds
