BBQ Chicken Wings

These wings are finger lickin' good! These oven baked BBQ chicken wings are great to serve as an appetizer and they require very little prep! Perfect sweet, tangy and sticky, they are always a hit!

Ingredients

Servings
  • 4 - 5 lbs chicken wings about 30 wings
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups barbeque sauce
  • green onions chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl toss the chicken wings with the oil, salt and pepper then line up on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Bake until wings are crispy and browned for 45 minutes. Remove the wings and add them to a large bowl and toss them with the barbecue sauce, then bake them for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Serve them warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Cook the wings on a parchment lined tray so that clean up is a breeze.
  • Cook the wings in a fully pre heated oven so that they cook through evenly.
  • Let the wings rest for 5 minutes before serving.
