  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup parsley finely chopped, fresh
  • 1 white onion chopped
  • 1 tsp baharat spice mix or allspice
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 pita bread

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, except pita bread and olive oil.
  2. Cut each pita bread in half and fill it with seasoned ground beef.
  3. Now, brush it with olive oil on both sides of the pita bread. Add cheese here if you are using it.
  4. Using a large pan, heat it over medium heat and fry the pita with ground beef filling. Cook it for 2-4 minutes on each side until the ground beef is cooked.
  5. Let cool for a minute and serve right away. Enjoy!
