Ingredients
- 1 rack of beef ribs
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne adjust to your preferred level of spiciness
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- fresh cracked black pepper to taste
- chopped parsley for garnish
- your favorite BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Start by preparing the beef ribs. If there's excess fat, trim it down to your preference.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cumin, chili powder, cayenne, garlic powder, and fresh cracked black pepper.
- Brush the rack of beef ribs with avocado oil to help seal in moisture during cooking.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Place the seasoned beef ribs on a baking sheet or roasting pan, bone side down.
- Cover the ribs with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. This slow-roasting method will make the ribs tender and flavorful.
- After the initial slow roast, remove the foil and brush the ribs generously with your favorite BBQ sauce. You can use a basting brush for even coverage.
- Return the uncovered ribs to the oven and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes, or until the ribs develop a beautiful caramelized glaze and reach your desired level of tenderness.
- Once done, remove the beef ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
- To serve, garnish with chopped parsley for a burst of freshness.
- Slice the ribs between the bones and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping or drizzling.
