Best Healthy Cookies Recipe

These healthy Banana Oatmeal Cookies are made with only 3 ingredients: banana, oats, and chocolate chips. This recipe is so easy to make and is one of our favorite healthy cookie recipes.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas ripe
  • 1 ½ cup old-fashioned oats
  • 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and set aside.
  2. Peel the bananas and place them on a large plate. Mash them until smooth with no more lumps.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add the mashed bananas and oats. Mix well.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and stir to combine.
  5. Scoop one tablespoon of batter onto the baking sheet and flatten it slightly with your fingertips. Repeat for the rest of the batter, spacing the cookies an inch apart.
  6. Bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
  7. Remove them from oven. Let the cookies cool for 5-10 minutes and then use a rigid spatula to remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve and enjoy!
