- 1 lb fresh sushi-grade tuna
- 1 tomato, seeded and diced about ½ cup
- 3 tablespoons minced red onion
- 3 tablespoons capers drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- freshly cracked black pepper to taste
- Crostini, crackers or potato chips optional, for serving
