Boston Butt Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 –4 pounds pork shoulder Boston Butt
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line a roasting pan with foil and place a roasting rack on top.
  2. Pour all of the seasonings and brown sugar in a small bowl and mix until combined.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork to cover.
  4. Bake the pork for 20 minutes per pound until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the roast reaches 145°F.
  5. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
