Ingredients
Pork Chops
- 4 pork chops, boneless 1 inch thick
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
- Kosher salt & pepper to taste
Sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 package Boursin cheese, softened (5.2 ounces)
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- additional fresh parsley and thyme, chopped for garnish

Instructions
- Pat 4 pork chops, dry and season all sides with 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning, and Kosher salt & pepper to taste. Cut a few small slits in the sides of the pork chops to keep them from curling up as they cook.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet on the stove over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, sear the pork chops 3-5 minutes on each side. They should be golden on the outside.
- Once the pork chops are seared, remove them from the pan and set them on a plate. To the pan, add 1 shallot,, minced and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add in 1 clove garlic,, minced and sauté another minute. Add in 1 cup chicken broth, ½ cup heavy cream, ½ cup parmesan cheese, 1 package Boursin cheese, 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, and 1 teaspoon fresh thyme,.
- Reduce the heat to medium low, continually stir until you have a creamy sauce. Add the pork chops back into the pan and cook for another 5 minutes until the pork chops are cooked through, coating each pork chop in the sauce.
- Serve fresh with additional fresh parsley and thyme, salt and pepper, and your favorite side!
