Instructions

  1. Pat 4 pork chops, dry and season all sides with 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning, and Kosher salt & pepper to taste. Cut a few small slits in the sides of the pork chops to keep them from curling up as they cook.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet on the stove over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, sear the pork chops 3-5 minutes on each side. They should be golden on the outside.
  3. Once the pork chops are seared, remove them from the pan and set them on a plate. To the pan, add 1 shallot,, minced and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add in 1 clove garlic,, minced and sauté another minute. Add in 1 cup chicken broth, ½ cup heavy cream, ½ cup parmesan cheese, 1 package Boursin cheese, 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, and 1 teaspoon fresh thyme,.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium low, continually stir until you have a creamy sauce. Add the pork chops back into the pan and cook for another 5 minutes until the pork chops are cooked through, coating each pork chop in the sauce.
  6. Serve fresh with additional fresh parsley and thyme, salt and pepper, and your favorite side!
