Ingredients

  • 2 haddock fillets
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Lemon wedges optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to broil on high and lightly coat a baking sheet with olive oil spray.
  2. Place the haddock fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over the fillets.
  4. Distribute small bits of butter over the seasoned fillets.
  5. If using, place lemon wedges on the side of the fillets or drizzle with lemon juice.
  6. Broil the haddock for about 8 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with additional lemon wedges if desired.
