Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract, salt, and chopped pecans.
- Gradually stir in the powdered sugar, mixing until smooth and fully incorporated.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping them into rounds with the back of the spoon.
- Allow the pralines to cool and set for about 30 minutes. They will firm up as they cool.
