Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, over medium heat add butter.
  3. Stir until melted.
  4. Add marshmallows
  5. Remove from heat and stir until melted.
  6. Add peanut butter and chocolate chips. Continue to stir. Return to heat momentarily, if necessary, to totally melt and blend those ingredients.
  7. Add cereal and stir until totally and evenly coated.
  8. ***We prefer the chocolate chips melted but you can also add them last, right before you press the dessert into your prepared pan.
  9. Spoon and press into your prepared pan and refrigerate until cool, about 2 hours.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Remove the butter from the heat before adding the marshmallows to avoid scorching them.
  • If necessary, you can add the pot back to the heat for a few seconds to help melt the chocolate chips after you add them to the marshmallow mixture.
  • Microwave your peanut butter for a few seconds to get it nice and soft. This makes it easier to mix into the marshmallow mixture.
