Cappuccino

A cappuccino is a drink of Italian origin composed of coffee and milk steamed until frothy, and topped with cocoa and/or cinnamon powder.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk whole
  • 1 oz. espresso coffee
  • sugar , to taste
  • cocoa powder and/or cinnamon powder

Equipment

  • Espresso machine
  • milk frother

Instructions

  1. Prepare espresso according to the espresso machine instructions or with a Moka espresso maker.
  2. Then pour the espresso into a large cup.
  3. Steam the milk according to the espresso machine instructions until it reaches around 150 F (65°C).
  4. Then froth the milk using a milk frother.
  5. Carefully pour the frothed milk over the espresso and add a little foam on top.
  6. Sprinkle with a pinch of cocoa powder and/or cinnamon.
  7. Enjoy immediately.
