Carne Asada Fried Rice

Fried rice with chopped carne asada and parsley

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. carne asada chopped, grilled
  • 6 cups white rice leftover
  • 1 teaspoon cumin ground
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon parsley dried
  • 3 tablespoons neutral cooking oil generic cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Combine salt and leftover rice. Gently mix until fully incorporated.
  2. Heat the oil in a wide pan.
  3. When the oil is hot, put-in the carne asada. Cook for 20 seconds (so that the oil can absorb the flavor).
  4. Add the rice and then stir while frying. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Put-in the ground cumin and dried parsley. Cook while stirring for 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve with your main dish.
  7. Share and enjoy!
