Chai Latte with Chocolate
Description
This beverage recipe starts by steeping black chai tea with cocoa powder in hot water to infuse deep spice and chocolate flavors. Honey is added to provide sweetness that complements the bitterness of cocoa and the aromatics of chai. While the tea steeps, milk is warmed and frothed to a creamy, airy texture, which is then poured over the brewed tea.
The combination yields a smooth, creamy chai latte with a subtle chocolate undertone enhanced by dusting additional cocoa powder on top. The frothy milk blends with the spicy and sweet notes of the tea, making a rich and moderately sweet drink.
The latte can be customized by using milk substitutes and adjusting the sweetness or cocoa intensity. Serve immediately for the best balance of warm flavors and froth.
