Chai Latte with Chocolate

Chai Latte with Chocolate blends brewed black chai tea and cocoa powder sweetened with honey and mixed with warm, frothy milk. The drink offers a comforting balance of spicy chai flavors and rich chocolate notes, topped with a dusting of cocoa powder for garnish. It’s perfect for a cozy beverage with a hint of sweetness and warmth.

Description

This beverage recipe starts by steeping black chai tea with cocoa powder in hot water to infuse deep spice and chocolate flavors. Honey is added to provide sweetness that complements the bitterness of cocoa and the aromatics of chai. While the tea steeps, milk is warmed and frothed to a creamy, airy texture, which is then poured over the brewed tea.

The combination yields a smooth, creamy chai latte with a subtle chocolate undertone enhanced by dusting additional cocoa powder on top. The frothy milk blends with the spicy and sweet notes of the tea, making a rich and moderately sweet drink.

The latte can be customized by using milk substitutes and adjusting the sweetness or cocoa intensity. Serve immediately for the best balance of warm flavors and froth.
