Chicken Korma

Chicken Korma combines diced chicken cooked in a creamy sauce made with coconut powder, yogurt, cream, and a blend of spices including turmeric, garam masala, and coriander. The dish balances aromatic spices and a rich, smooth texture, served traditionally with a naan bread.

Description

This Chicken Korma recipe starts with sautéing finely diced onion, ginger, and garlic paste in oil, developing a flavorful base. Spices such as turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder, salt, and sugar are cooked briefly to deepen their aromas. Chicken pieces are then added and cooked until lightly browned.

Next, coconut powder is incorporated, adding subtle sweetness and texture alongside sugar. Yogurt and double cream create a creamy, luscious sauce that simmers with the chicken, melding the spices and dairy into a rich consistency. The result is tender chicken in a flavorful, silky sauce.

Serving Chicken Korma with peshwari naan complements its creamy texture and mild spice level, offering a complete and satisfying meal.
