Chocolate-Filled Cruffin Recipe

This cruffin recipe is chocolate-filled, flaky, and you can make it in only 30 minutes. It's so easy and delicious!

Ingredients
- 2 puff pastry sheets, defrosted
- 8 pieces milk chocolate (about 1 1/2 - 2 inch long pieces)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
- icing sugar
Instructions
- Thaw the puff pastry sheets according to package directions.
- Preheat the oven to 400F. Spray a muffin tin with non stick cooking spray and set aside.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets to about 8x10 inch rectangles.
- Brush each sheet of puff pastry with melted butter.
- With a knife or pizza cutter, cut each puff pastry sheet into 4 strips (cut from the long end so the strips will be about 2.5 inch wide and 8 inches long).Place a piece of chocolate at the short end of a strip of pastry and roll the chocolate into each strip.
- Set each puff pastry roll into a muffin tin and brush with an egg wash (1 egg whisked with 1 tbsp water).
- Bake in the oven on the centre rack for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooled, dust with icing sugar and enjoy!
