Ingredients
- ½ cup AMERICAN HERITAGE ® Finely Grated Baking Chocolate
- 1 tablespoon Sprinkles
- 1 candy cane crushed
- 3 cups AMERICAN HERITAGE ® Chocolate’s Gourmet Hot Cocoa Mix Divided Divided
- 1.5 cups mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Melt the AMERICAN HERITAGE ® Finely Grated Baking Chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments, stir then repeat for another 30 seconds and/or until smooth.
- Dip a spoon in the chocolate. Place on a parchment lined tray then sprinkle toppings on. Repeat until all spoons are topped.
- Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes or until hard.
- Place ¼ cup of the AMERICAN HERITAGE® Chocolate’s Gourmet Hot Cocoa Mix in a clear plastic treat bag. Add 2 tablespoons of mini marshmallows, and a chocolate spoon. Tie and repeat until all 12 are done.
Notes
- Spoons - I like to use wooden spoons, but you can use plastic spoons or even metal spoons (found at a thrift store) to give as gifts.
- Refrigeration - You definitely need to have enough room in your refrigerator to let the spoons chill for at least 15 minutes if not up to an hour before packaging in cocoa mix.
- Lined Tray - I love to use parchment paper on a baking sheet. There is no need to spray the parchment with non-stick spray. If the chocolate is hard it will peel right off the paper with ease.
- Storage - Store the chocolate spoons in the refrigerator until you are ready to give the spoons out.
