A fun and festive dessert version of a charcuterie board.

Ingredients
- 2.8 ounces (80g) softened butter
- 2.8 ounces (80g) powdered sugar
- 5.6 ounces (160g) cream cheese
- Green Gel Food Coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- M&M candy for decorating
- butter toffee for the tree trunk
- cookies and crackers for dipping
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat the butter and powdered sugar until creamy. Then add cream cheese and beat until stiff peaks form.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and green food coloring.
- Transfer the frosting to a piping bag, and on a wide plate, pipe the frosting in the shape of a Christmas tree.
- Decorate with M&M's and use butter toffee to create the tree trunk.
- Serve with cookies and crackers for dipping.
Notes
- Make sure to start with cream cheese that is well chilled so your frosting will remain firm.
- For a smoother frosting, ensure all ingredients are at room temperature except for the cream cheese.
- When piping the frosting, start from the bottom of the tree and work up for a neater design.
- Use a star-shaped piping tip for the top of the tree to achieve a classic Christmas tree look.
- Have fun experimenting with different colors to create unique tree designs.
- Easily adapt this recipe for other holidays and occasions by swapping the colors and making different shapes, such as a red heart for Valentine's Day, a green shamrock for St. Patrick's Day, a multi-color egg for Easter, etc.
