- 2 (1 pound) swordfish steaks
- 3 medium limes juiced (about ¼ cup)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro divided
- 1 medium lime quartered, for serving

Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the juice of the 3 medium limes and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Pour over the 2 (1 pound) swordfish steaks. Season the steaks with 1 teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, and half of the chopped cilantro.
- Preheat an outdoor gas grill until very hot, about 500℉. Grill the swordfish for 5-7 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. The actual grilling time might vary depending on the steak's thickness.
- Before serving, sprinkle the remaining cilantro and squeeze some fresh lime juice over the steaks if desired.
Notes
- If you don't have an outdoor grill, fear not! You can also prepare this dish using a grill pan on the stovetop or by broiling it in an oven. Both methods will provide a nice char and flavor to the swordfish.
