Ingredients

  • 2 lices challah bread thick cut
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
  • 1 ½ tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Butter both slices of bread on a single side.
  2. Sprinkle on the sugar in an even layer.
  3. Sprinkle the cinnamon on top of the sugar layer.
  4. Toast in the toaster oven on medium. (This might take a few rounds… but better to go slow than burn your Cinnamon Toast.)
  5. When the bread is crisp and the sugar bubbles, remove from the toaster.
  6. Let cool slightly, then enjoy while warm.

Notes

  • This recipe can be easily multiplied to make a batch, instead of two slices.
