Coffee Syrup

This Homemade Coffee Syrup is made with sugar, water and instant coffee. It's great in milk, milkshakes, cheesecake and more!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons instant coffee

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, add in the sugar, water and instant coffee. Stir to combine.
  2. Let the coffee syrup come up to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Let simmer until thickened.
  3. Mine simmered for about 15 minutes.
  4. Pour into a cup and let cool. Cooling the syrup will let it thicken more. Use the syrup in recipes and a cup of milk.

Notes

  • To store, place in a jar with lid at room temperature and use within 7 days.
