Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth.
- Mix in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
- Fold in finely chopped Oreos and chopped candy pieces.
- Use a cookie scoop to make dough balls. Put them on the prepared cookie sheets, leaving 2 inches between each cookie.
- Bake for 14-15 minutes until the edges are slightly golden.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for 15 minutes before moving to a cooling rack to finish cooling completely.
Decorate the Cookies
- Mix the butter, powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla until combined
- Add in the ground Oreos and mix until fluffy.
- Add the frosting to the piping bag and pipe circular rings around the top. Add a mini Oreo to the center.
Notes
- When you're adding the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, don’t overmix.
- If your cookie dough is too soft and sticky to scoop, try chilling it in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour before baking.
- The cookies are done when they have lightly golden brown edges and set centers. They may still look a bit soft and underbaked in the middle, but don't worry—they'll continue to set up as they cool on the baking sheet.
- If you don't feel like piping swirls of Crumbl style, spread the frosting with a knife.
