Creamy Grape Salad

Creamy Grape Salad blends sweet seedless red and green grapes into a smooth mixture of cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and sour cream. This combination creates a cool, velvety texture that coats the grapes gently. The salad offers a balance of creamy sweetness with fresh fruit bite, making it a refreshing side dish or light dessert that can be chilled ahead and topped with optional toasted pecans for a crunchy contrast.

Description

Creamy Grape Salad starts by beating cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. Sour cream is added to lighten the mixture, resulting in a silky, sweet cream base. Washed, dried, and firm seedless red and green grapes are gently folded in to evenly coat them without bruising. A sprinkle of brown sugar on top adds an extra touch of sweetness and subtle molasses notes.

The grapes provide a juicy burst amid the creamy sauce, creating a pleasing texture contrast. Chilling the salad for several hours melds flavors and firms the mixture. Optional chopped toasted pecans add texture and nutty flavor when sprinkled just before serving.

This salad suits a warm weather meal or potluck contribution. It pairs well with barbecue or picnic fare and can be prepared ahead for convenience.
