Creamy Millet Porridge with Fresh Fruit

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 cup millet
  • 2 cups plant-based milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 ½ tablespoon maple syrup

Toppings

  • A handful blueberries
  • A handful raspberry
  • A handful strawberries
  • granola
  • maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Rinse the millet with fresh water.
  2. Using a large pot, add the millet, plant-based milk, water, and cinnamon.
  3. Cover the pot and bring it to a simmer. Leave it simmering for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add maple syrup, and some more milk if needed, and using an immersion blender, blend the porridge to the desired consistency.
  5. Serve and top with your favorite toppings.
