Easy Applebee’s Copycat Recipe: Chicken Wonton Tacos

Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 2 chicken breasts diced
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
For Wonton Tacos
- 14 wonton wrappers
- olive oil for brushing the wrappers
For the Toppings
- 1/2 cup Red Onions diced
- 1/2 cup tomatoes diced
- 1 bag coleslaw mix
- 4 green onions thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- optional toppings such as sweet chili sauce,cilantro, and sesame seeds

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Brush the wonton wrappers with olive oil and then drape them over the sides of a 9×13 baking dish.
- Bake the wontons for about 7-8 minutes. Watch them closely to ensure they don’t burn.
- Remove the wonton wrappers from the oven and gently pull them apart while they’re still pliable. Place them back in the oven and bake for another 7-8 minutes until crisp.
- Mix together the chicken, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic and ginger in a large bowl. Heat a large skillet over high heat and saute the chicken for 7-8 minutes, stirring often, until cooked through.
- Place the topping ingredients in a large bowl and mix until combined.
- Add the chicken mixture to the wonton shells and add the toppings. Serve and enjoy!
