Ingredients
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- Old Bay seasoning to taste
- 1 pound tilapia filets
- salt and pepper to taste
- vegetable oil for frying
- Lemon wedges optional
- tartar sauce optional

Instructions
- Whisk the eggs in a shallow bowl and set aside.
- Place the flour, garlic, lemon zest, and Old bay seasoning in a shallow bowl and stir together to combine.
- Generously season both sides of the tilapia filets with salt and pepper.
- Dip the tilapia in the eggs and then coat well with the seasoned flour on both sides, turning the filets 2-3 times until covered.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet until hot. Add the fish and fry for about 2-3 minutes on both sides until golden.
- Serve with lemon wedges and tartar sauce if desired. Enjoy!
