Easy Homemade Salsa
Report
Smoky fire roasted tomatoes, fresh cilantro and lime give this Easy Homemade Salsa a restaurant-like quality and flavor.
Share:
Ingredients
- 28 ounce can fire roasted diced tomatoes drained
- ⅓ yellow onion diced
- ½ Jalapeno pepper seeded and minced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Juice of 1 ½ limes
- ½ cup cilantro chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Optional: pinch of sweetener
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to the bowl of a food processor.
- Pulse until well combined, but don’t over mix. You still want it a little chunky.
- Serve with your favorite low carb tortillas or even Homemade Keto Tortilla Chips.
Notes
- The fire-roasted tomatoes help give the salsa a slightly smoky flavor, but if you can't find them, you can use plain diced tomatoes instead.
- If you prefer a spicier salsa, you can add a whole jalapeño pepper, instead of just half.
