Easy Ribeye Steak Marinade Recipe

For the Marinade

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

For the Steak

  • 1 1/2 pounds ribeye steak
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • parsley fresh chopped

Instructions

  1. Make the Marinade
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Place the steaks in an airtight container or a resealable freezer bag and add the marinade. Turn the steaks so all sides are coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour (preferably 2 hours) or overnight.
  4. Cook the Steak
  5. Heat a skillet over high heat. Pat the steaks with paper towels to remove the excess moisture. Add the steaks to the hot skillet and cook for about 3 minutes per side until brown. Reduce the heat to medium-high and continue to cook the steaks to the desired doneness. As a general guideline, medium-well steaks will take about 10 minutes.
  6. Top with a knob of butter and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
