Easy Strawberry Juice

Strawberry juice is a refreshing, delicious way to start the day! It’s full of antioxidants and vitamin C this juice has so many uses too.

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 1 tsp lemon juice, fresh or bottled
- 2 Tbsp sugar
Instructions
- Wash berries well.
- Remove hulls.
- Add berries to blender container.
- Add lemon juice and sugar.
- Blend for a few minutes until all of the berries are puréed.
- If desired, strainer juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth. Press juice through with spoon to get as much of the pulp back that you can.

- Use fresh berries. The fresher the better. See section above for the best way to store strawberries.
- Sweeter berries will make a sweeter juice. Taste test the juice and add more lemon or sugar to taste.
- You can substitute lime juice for the lemon juice for a slightly different twist.
- You can use other fruits and vegetables to change it up as well. Try raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, apple, carrot, celery, cucumber. The possibilities are endless.
- Also try different herbs and spices. Fresh ginger, mint, lemon balm,
- Juice is best fresh but if can be stored. Juice must be stored refrigerated. It will last about a week. For longer storage, you can certainly freeze it in bags or containers.
- Make a refreshing strawberry drink. Just add water, club soda or seltzer.
- Use it for strawberry daquiris or margaritas.
- It is great to use in strawberry pie filling, or strawberry jam or strawberry sauce, instead of adding water. This will make the jam and sauces extra flavorful.
- Strawberry lemonade is a totally refreshing summer drink.
