Easy Weeknight Chili

This easy weeknight chili is perfect for lazy Sunday afternoons with the family or for feeding a large crowd coming over to watch football.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 15 ounces canned tomato sauce
- 15 ounces canned red kidney beans not drained
- 15 ounces canned pinto beans not drained
- 15 ounces canned diced tomatoes drained
- 4 ounces canned diced green chiles not drained
- ½ green pepper diced
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 ½ tbsp.chili powder
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef and onion. Drain if necessary.
- To the pot add all the other ingredients. Bring to a soft boil and then simmer for 30 minutes to an hour.
- Serve.
