Refreshing and flavorful Elderflower Gin Cocktail with tonic water and lemon, this will become your favorite summer drink.

Ingredients
- large ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice + more wedges for the garnish Note 1
- 6 cl gin 2 fl.oz, Note 2
- 3 cl elderflower liqueur or syrup 1 fl. oz, Note 3
- 7-9 cl tonic water 2.5-3 fl.oz, Note 4
- a few mint or lemon balm leaves for garnishing optional
Instructions
- Chill the glasses, gin, and elderflower liqueur or syrup. You can place them in the freezer for about 20 minutes before stirring the cocktail.
- Add ice cubes to the glass.
- Squeeze some lemon juice into the glass.
- Pour in the gin and the elderflower drink.
- Fill with tonic water and garnish with lemon wedges and mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Add lemon juice to taste. Start with 1-2 tablespoons and add more after you’ve poured in all the other ingredients.
- Use your favorite brand; I have London Dry Gin most of the time.
- Either St Germain liqueur or elderflower syrup.
- Use a good quality, well-carbonated brand.
