Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a pie plate with non-stick cooking spray or an 8x8 inch glass baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl cream together cream cheese, mayo and garlic powder. Stir in chopped pepperoni and mozzarella cheese.
  3. Spread mixture in the bottom of pie plate. Top with pepperonis to form a football shape. Slice string cheese into quarters the long way. Lay one strip on top of football shape. Slice the other three pieces of cheese in quarters and lay out to form the threads of football.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until the dip is golden brown and bubbly on edges.
  5. Serve with Tortilla chips or bread.

Notes

  • Transfer leftovers into an airtight container and store in the fridge for 3-4 days. I do not recommend freezing leftovers since there's so much cheese in the dish. To reheat leftovers, place them in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
  • To reheat leftover pizza dip, you can use either an oven or a microwave. In the oven, preheat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the dip in an oven-safe dish, cover with foil, and heat for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness at 20 minutes.
  • For the microwave, transfer the dip to a microwave-safe dish, cover, and heat on medium power in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, for a total of 1-2 minutes until evenly heated.
