Fried Feta Cheese Saganaki

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 block of Feta cheese about 100-150 grams / 3,5-5oz
  • 1 egg
  • flour
  • Frying oil
  • Fresh Lemon

Instructions

  1. Cover the bottom of a non-stick frying pan (about 2 fingers ) with frying oil.
  2. Heat over medium-high heat.
  3. Beat the egg in a wide bowl .
  4. Dip feta in the egg and then coat with flour.
  5. Cook in frying oil for aproximately 2 minutes on each side or untill it gets a golden brown color.
  6. Transfer to papaer towel to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve by squeezing a few drops of fresh lemon on top.
