- 1 cup (8oz/225g) light brown sugar
- ¾ cup (8oz/225g) molasses (Treacle)
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- 3 cups (15oz/425g) all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cups (10floz/300ml) whole milk
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
