Instructions

  1. First, preheat waffle cone maker.
  2. Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
  3. Spray waffle cone maker with nonstick spray.
  4. Then, scoop out about ¼ cup of batter. Pour in the middle of the waffle cone maker. Shut the lid.
  5. Cook for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Then, carefully remove from waffle cone maker. Immediately use cone roller to shape the cones. They are hot and easily formable, but please be careful.
  7. Finally, allow the cones to fully cool while wrapped around the cone roller. Then repeat process for remaining batter.

Notes

  • ¼ cup of the batter for each cone.  Just spoon it right in the middle of the cone maker and close the lid.
  • Use gluten free 1 to 1 flour, not almond flour, coconut flour, cassava flour or oat flour.  The only substitute is all purpose flour (if not gluten free).
  • I used almond milk for these photos.
  • I have not tried using coconut oil in place of the butter, but I imagine it would work for a dairy free option.
  • Use about ¼ cup of the batter for each cone.  Just spoon it right in the middle of the cone maker and close the lid.
  • Each waffle cone maker is different, but mine calls for about 2 minutes of cooking time.  Adjust as needed.
  • These cones are very hot when they first come out of the maker.  Please be careful forming the cones.
  • Since they are so hot, they are easily moldable.
