These homemade gluten free ice cream cones are so fun! They are buttery, sweet and perfect for ice cream. This recipe is quick and easy to make.

Ingredients
- 5 tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ cup gluten free 1 to 1 flour
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 2 tbsp milk dairy free or regular
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch sea salt
Instructions
- First, preheat waffle cone maker.
- Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
- Spray waffle cone maker with nonstick spray.
- Then, scoop out about ¼ cup of batter. Pour in the middle of the waffle cone maker. Shut the lid.
- Cook for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Then, carefully remove from waffle cone maker. Immediately use cone roller to shape the cones. They are hot and easily formable, but please be careful.
- Finally, allow the cones to fully cool while wrapped around the cone roller. Then repeat process for remaining batter.
Notes
- ¼ cup of the batter for each cone. Just spoon it right in the middle of the cone maker and close the lid.
- Use gluten free 1 to 1 flour, not almond flour, coconut flour, cassava flour or oat flour. The only substitute is all purpose flour (if not gluten free).
- I used almond milk for these photos.
- I have not tried using coconut oil in place of the butter, but I imagine it would work for a dairy free option.
- Use about ¼ cup of the batter for each cone. Just spoon it right in the middle of the cone maker and close the lid.
- Each waffle cone maker is different, but mine calls for about 2 minutes of cooking time. Adjust as needed.
- These cones are very hot when they first come out of the maker. Please be careful forming the cones.
- Since they are so hot, they are easily moldable.
